Carpets and Rugs

I'll admit it. I'm pretty picky when it comes to the floors in my house. I like them to be clean, and I like them to look inviting. My kids like to lay in the floor when they are watching TV, and it just makes my skin crawl when I think the floor isn't clean.

We just moved into this house two years ago, and I have to say, I do not like the carpet in our living room. Even though I do my best to keep it clean, I don't know how it was maintained by the previous owners, and I would love to have it replaced.

My personal favorite is shag rugs. They are so plush. It just calls you to come lay down on it. When you're running around in your stocking feet, it just feels so good.

Shag rugs are also made from durable nylon yarns that stand up to normal wear and tear a lot longer, and are easy to maintain. With my three kids and three dogs running around, a shag rug would be such a great addition in my living room. Something else I really like about a shag rug is the way it looks when it's freshly vacuumed. It looks brand new every time!

Yes, I'm thinking that replacing the rug in my living room is a good idea!
