We just bought our house two years ago with an adjustable rate mortgage. Next year, our rate is set to adjust and I would really like to be out from under it before it does. I've been doing a lot of research online about different mortgage lenders, and what kind of rate I can expect to have when I get ready to refinance.
It's important to shop around, especially if you don't have to be in a hurry. This is why I'm starting already in my search for a cheaper rate. I came across Somerset Mortgage Lenders Co. It looks to me like I might be able to get a pretty good rate. They offer mortgages and refinancing to fit just about every need, even mortgages for someone with less than perfect credit.
I encourage everyone with an adjustable rate mortgage to not wait until the last minute to try and get out of it. Start looking for a lender way ahead of time to save yourself a lot of worrying. Find the right lender to help you get into a fixed, low rate mortgage before your rates adjust.
